Vice President Quintin Johnson
My name is Quintin Johnson and I am the Vice President of the Smeal Student Mentors. I am currently a junior, and during my time here at Dear Old State I am working towards a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain and Information Systems along with minors in Information Systems Management and Legal Environment of Business. My hometown of York, Pennsylvania is only two hours south of State College, so the Nittany Lions have always been a part of life. As Vice President, my duties consist of organizing Freshman Seminar Visits, Major Panels, and recording attendance for all events. Freshman Seminar Visits are when we visit freshman seminar classes and speak to them about the resources Smeal and Penn State has to offer and how to be successful during your time in Happy Valley. Major Panels are held for us to speak to freshman about each major Smeal has to offer, the requirements to get into each major, and real world opportunities for each major. Besides my involvement with Smeal Mentors, I am a proud brother of the International Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi. Outside of my involvement in Penn State organizations I am a sports fanatic. Attending and cheering on the lions at as many sporting events on campus as possible is always a must.

Some of my favorite ways to spend my personal time include dancing, bonding with friends, and curling up with a really good book. I am a third-generation Penn Stater and could not be more prideful or passionate about all the opportunities I’ve had and experiences I’ve gained throughout my time at Penn State.
